Letting this butterfly flutter on to a mother of an amazing toddler that is about to embark on another adventure (Baby #2!) Exciting times are here and I hate that what our country is going (past and present) is putting stress on her plate when I want it to be pure joy. The world is in such a dismal state - with layers of ignorance and injustice and hate and loss - all compounding one on top of another. I still believe in the power of the human spirit, and although I don't know how to fix these problems I am trying to educate myself and want to do what I know I can do - be kind and hope that it's catching. I know seeing projects like the Butterfly Project and the videos of kindness that bleep on the radar fill me with hope. Let's keep it going.

This coin is about to travel via donations of toiletries/food to the homeless in Charlotte. It's only one coin, but I hope that it finds it's way to someone who needs it most. Someone that needs a little light in these dark times.

I'm sending this card to the son of a dear high school friend. We had such zany times and haven't kept in touch, but in these strange COVID times, saw her FB post asking people to send cards for her son's birthday. I sent along with a Paper Monster to put together and a homemade card. I hope that it helps make his day special.

I'm sending this coin out to my dear step mother. I'm hoping that this coin brightens her heart as she thinks of the good deed she will do for someone else before passing the coin along.

I am sending this coin off to a family that has had some hard times and could use some positive focus. I hope this butterfly brings joy and happiness!

Sending the butterfly off with a Starbucks card to a friend that may need a little more energy (both in liquid form and the sunshine-y smile-y sort.)

The coin is starting it's journey as a gift to my coworker's granddaughter. She is so creative and I can't wait to hear how she will pass this along to the next person.
