There is this very hard-working and polite guy who I know since he was a kid and now he's on his late teens. Him and his siblings come from a family struggling to make a living and they often criss-cross Greece selling small items trying to make ends meet.

He comes to Delphi every now and then to sell his products and support his family and we always have nice chats. I'm glad to report that he is finally back to school planning to complete basic education and then continue his studies to become a cooker/chef.

He's lacking of language skills but he is always eager to learn new things, so I gave him a small Greek-French dictionary focusing on cooking, restaurants and food items' terminology. And passed on this coin : )

We may not hear from the coin immediately, but I'm sure the guy will pay it forward. Good Luck!

The coin arrived in Dephi, Greece, let's see where it'll travel next and what good Random Acts of Kindness will accompany...

Coins are here. They look great!

Thank you for your kind offer. I did order 3 coins and waiting for them to turn up. Shipping costs came to $15 . Quite high, but what can you do.
My main point though is the way those costs are displayed. By default when ordering appears the higher cost as the estimated cost and you have to proceed to next step to see the other lower cost options. I think this might drive some people off. I know I gulped, left the page, opened this thread and I didn't proceed to next step before Reno replied here...

By the way, why are replies to replies hidden? : ) This makes the thread tidy on first sight, but when half of conversation is hidden it makes it less functional.

U.S.P.S. First-Class Package International Service™$15.00

Picked this and ordered, let's see how it goes : )

Ditto : )
But I guess that's better than not getting it at all lol

Thanks for quick reply Ron. I didn't proceed to check the specifics, now I checked next step on ordering and options come as

UPS Saver$130.04

UPS Worldwide Expedited SM$114.73

UPS Worldwide Express SM$132.42

U.S.P.S. Priority Mail Express International™ (3-5 μέρες)$61.50

U.S.P.S. Priority Mail International® (6-10 μέρες)$47.00

U.S.P.S. First-Class Package International Service™$15.00

I see now there are cheaper options, but the first page showing the higher cost option as the estimated cost can be off-putting and most people won't proceed to step 2. I'm not familiar with UPS or USPS, but I guess the cheaper option will be the slower too? Cheaper but not cheap still...
