It has landed in fargo. But will soon to heading to Knoxville, TN this coming week

I lost it 3 times tried to find it but I found it finally my grandma got it for my berth day

I was in FlyDogz in Lincoln Ne when a young woman purchased 2 fly it forwards from me and told me to pass it on! This is amazing! #StayFly #FlyLife

Oct. 19, 2019 - Karen Baker is a warm, wonderful and kind lady. I had the pleasure of meeting her at an Honor Flight orientation. Honor Flights are flights that take Veterans from World War II, the Korean War, etc., and go to the nation’s capitol to visit the Veteran’s Memorial and National Cemetery, at no cost to the Veteran. Karen is a tireless volunteer who is there for the Veterans from the time they get on the waiting list until they take the flight and even after they return. She often will step up and be a Guardian on the flight and take control of the trip while in DC. For these reasons, and many more, I am passing on the Butterfly Coin for her to enjoy and eventually pass on to another worthy candidate.

Nov 12, 2019. I received this beautiful coin today from Jerry at the 29th Honor Flight orientation at the Tucson International Airport. I was so honored and humbled by his gracious act of kindness. Jerry has a big heart and spreads his gratitude to veterans by presenting them with a wood pencil holder that he makes for each and every vet going on the honor flight. He shows up at every orientation and personally thanks the vets as he gives them his special gift. It is a privilege and honor to work with and know Jerry. His gift of passing on the coin to me was very heart warming.

I will keep this one for my personal collection

I received this coin from a dear friend, Idabel Johnson and have not passed it on as yet.

Helped jump a car an was given this coin

Received my coin from a very caring and kind person who’s life mission is helping others . We met in a very unconventional way and have become great friends . Her kindness motivates me to do for others . I hope that all of the people who receive this coin are reminded to do food for others even if we don’t feel they deserve it . Kindness is contagious and we can change the world one small effort at a time :)

I received this coin this morning from a girl from work as i was working. She handed it to me. :) put a smile on my face since the Missouri river flood 2019... Looking for a person, so it can travel on its way.

Lydia-I am going to miss your smiling face in Hamburg Iowa so much! Today, Monday April 15th 2019, will be the first time your radiant happy face won't be serving out that Salvation Army food truck.

A recant of just ONE of the memories that make me smile thinking of you.

Lydia (always happy) " Take some coffee"
Me "YOU'VE GOT COFFEE???? That sounds so good!"

So I go to get a cup of hot coffee. First cup of coffee in long time & Lydia informs me that they have a bunch of coffee today and to please take some so it doesn't go to waste.

Lydia " do you have a coffee travel mug to take some home with you?"

Me " no, but that's okay. This cup will be just fine thank you"

Lydia" hang on, if I get you one for you, will you promise to bring it back?"

Me "YES!"

So her and Bob ( another face I am going to truly miss) are doing something in the truck and I'm thinking that's taking a little while. And I walk to the back of the truck where they tell me to go to. Bob and Lydia were not just giving me a travel mug of coffee, they had taken down the whole huge vat of coffee with a spout on it ( 1 of 3 they bring along) and were going to give me that whole thing since they were almost done for the day. It took 2 of them to carry it . It is been a long time since I laughed like that and told them I cannot take that whole huge heavy thing. I informed them that I would go back to my store and find something to put some coffee into, which I did by finding a thermos and going back. A normal person size thermos. Makes me laugh just thinking of it.

and the other story that brings tears/happiness just thinking of you Lydia is this:

Lydia "Did you get your palm frond this morning?"

Me " What?"

Lydia " It's Palm Sunday! Hang on!"

I didn't even know that. I didn't know it was even Sunday to be honest with you. The days blend together.

Lydia goes up front of truck and comes back with her palm frond from church that morning and gives it to me.

You, Lydia are very special. Thank you from coming here and being who you are. You will never 100% know how important you were to me and my mental state during the time you were here. You will never be forgotten. Plus, you fed me chocolate and coffee when I needed it most....SCORE!

Safe travels Lydia!

This coin was given to Bob who came all the way from Lansing Illinois to Hamburg Iowa, April of 2019.

Hamburg Iowa was flooded terrible. As of today's date ( April 14th, 2019) , Kevin and I have not seen our home for now 31 days. We also own a business here in town that has suffered a massive amount of water and loss.

One of the high lights of our days was when Bob would drive over a hour to Hamburg to deliver our noon meal. I always lose track of time and come ripping around the corner hoping I hadn't miss Bob and the Salvation Army Red Cross. He ALWAYS greeted me with a smile and friendly wave. ALWAYS. It makes a huge difference. Actually tears me up now as I write this. I will miss your always smiling face and kind words Bob. You really are a very nice man when a very kind heart. I wish there were more people like you in this big world.

To your wife Amy-Thank you for letting your husband go to help serve others who greatly needed his service. You have a winner of a husband who was greatly loved, appreciated and will be greatly missed around here.

From our future home to yours, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You have no clue how many days the high light of the day was your face, kind words and whatever delicious food you were bringing us each day.

Our lives are forever changed just by meeting you Bob. You really are a inspiration for everyone. Strangers one day and friends the next. Safe travels back Bob! You are one of a kind!!!!

Sincerely and with so much thanks.

We also had the privilege of meeting his wife Carol when stopping into Council Bluffs, Iowa. Carol, you are one of the kindest people ever. You say the right things and made us feel like a instant member of your family within 5 minutes of meeting you. Can we just come visit you two and hang out for the day!

A good friend of mine who I reconnected with gave me this coin to pass on the act of kindness.

This is where i passed on the Butterfly!

I reside in Hamburg IA. Today I met a Family from Minnesota traveling through Percival, IA at the Finders Keepers Mall. A Very kind Mother and Child. They were heading to TX to surprise Grandpa. Safe Travels to them Always!

My name is Bryant and I recieved this coin from a woman named Kim. I cannot thank her enough as well as the makers of these coins! I was just doing my job, and for someone to go out of their way to say thank you by giving me this coin felt so good. I look forward to finding someone and passing it on! No matter what I hear or see I choose to believe whole heartedly that there will always be more GOOD than there is bad.

I chose to give my coin to the young man who was working at Taco John's on January 7th of 2019 named Bryant. It was over the lunch crowd and crazy busy inside. He never once lost his composure, was very efficient, polite and easy going. All very good qualities to have inside and outside the workforce. Taco John should feel very thankful that they have an employee that is this conscientious of his job when serving the public. Awesome job and thank you for such great service Bryant! You made a difference in how the rest of my day played out!

This coin originated from the Awesome Possum Flea Market in Hamburg, Iowa. This is part of a project of 105 coins that are taking place in the Hamburg Iowa butterfly effect of kindness project. Please make sure that if you are given one of these awesome coins for whatever reason that you continue passing it on so that we can see how far this coins journey can go. While I know it is tempting to hang on to these cool coins, the whole point to our project is to see how far and how big of a difference these could make in somebody's lives.

Hi I am the young Lady to witch he refers. What He said was a 100% true. They are absolutely an amazing couple. We need to mention that not only did he go and get us enough gas to make it to the gas station but when they return they refused to be reimbursed for the gas or the gas can. My mother and I tried very hard to make them take the cash but they refused. In stead they gave me this wonderful beautiful coin and explained what we needed to do. What they did not know is that my family an I have had a rough go of it this year. I was truly losing faith in the holidays (not to be Cindy Lou Who about it). It was extremely hard to recall the Christmas spirt and feel the magic that I once felt at this time of year. When this wonderful husband a wife stopped for my mother and I when they didn't have to completely warmed my heart. They truly were our Mr& Mrs. Claws this year. This was the best gift I received, the gift will never leave my heart. Thank you so much for reminding me what Christmas is all about.. I can not wait to pass the kindness on.

love,
Young Lady & Mother

A heart felt thanks from Kevin Johnson. He stopped by to deliver a get-well card from the Red Switch office ( hi guys). We had a great visit and he helped Sondra and I remove our Christmas lights that we were unable to take down by ourselves at this time due to my recent back surgery. Again thank you!

I will be going through the toll bridge at Plattemouth Nebraska and paying for person behind me and trusting toll bridge operator to pass this butterfly coin onto person behind me! Have a great day to person behind me and have fun releasing it under your own random act of kindness.

This coin started in Hamburg Iowa and was ordered from Awesome Possum Flea Market, owners Kevin and Kim Johnson. ( I'm Kim) We headed up the Hamburg Act of Kindness Project with local residents ordering a total of 105 coins.

We went to visit my family in Iowa and when we all went to the movie theater that night, my parents paid for our tickets to the movie and I received the coin.

My coin started in Hamburg, Iowa. It travelled all the way to Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. I released it at the Waffle House near Blacksburg, SC. I gave it to our waitress because she had such a sweet smile and manner about her! Best wishes, Jennifer!
P.S. I'm sure your Mamma is proud of you♡

Gave to daughter in Lincoln, NE

We ordered this coin from The Awesome Possum in Hamburg, IA. Today we received it in the mail and we will be looking for an opportunity to let it fly here in Tucson, AZ!

March 14. 2019 My husband and I met a gentleman at the Southeast VA clinic in Tucson, AZ. He is a retired businessman and he visits the area VA clinics weekly to give away wooden pen holders (that he makes himself) as a gift to veterans. We were so impressed by his selfless act of gratitude to service members! He goes to 3 different VA clinics throughout the week- spreading his joy and gratitude to the Veterans at each clinic. We are inspired by Jerry to express gratitude more freely. We are giving him this butterfly coin today.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to the Nebraska couple we gave this coin to! You guys reminded me of my husband and myself. We always have fun wherever we go and when you called him out on dancing/rocking out to the overhead music waiting to check out at register, we knew we wanted you to have one of our Butterfly Effect of Kindness Hamburg Iowa coins! Hopefully you will pass this coin along with a random act of kindness so we can see how far this one coin can travel!

There are 105 coins in our towns project! You were chosen to receive this one! Here is wishing you a Merry Christmas and fun 2019!!

Got the coin from my mother inlaw so we can give the coin to someone to inspire someone to do good deeds.

My mom got us all coins to help kind acts

I just gave this coin to a young lady and her mom who had ran out of gas 1/2 mile from the gas station. My wife was driving a few minutes ahead of me, and stopped when she saw the young lady walking on the side of the road, having just left her mom in their vehicle on the side of the road, out of gas. the daughter was walking towards the gas station. My wife called me and told me what was going on, so I just drove past them to the gas station, got a gas can and a couple gallons of gas, and brought it to them. We put the gas in their vehicle and got them on their way to the station to fill up their tank. I hope we made their day a little easier, and they pay it forward to someone they meet!

I read a article in a newspaper about a family man named Zac Denton from Nebraska City, Nebraska. I very rarely read the newspaper and yet for some reason this article stuck in my head. Zac has been diagnosed with advanced kidney disease in which he has 2 options for treatment. Dialysis or a transplant.

I have never met Zac. But what I do know about him from reading the article is this. He is a hard worker choosing to remain working full time as long as he can. He is a family man with his loving wife Hilda and son named William ( Junior) .

Zac isn't asking for riches, trips, or fancy cars. In fact, he isn't asking for anything, but a chance to wrestle with his 6 year old son Junior in the near future and someday owning a pet for his son. Having a pet right now isn't a option due to a chance of infection.

So Zac, this Butterfly Coin is from me to you. We may not know each other and this coin may or may not find you a kidney donor. But then again, it just might. There are now 7 billion people in this world and you only need one healthy kidney. Why not you????

For whomever is reading this, you can help Zac two ways. By simply checking the organ & tissue box when getting your drivers license, you may be able to help him out if something were to happen to you. The other way is to fill out a form and visit secure.nebraskamed.com/livingdonor since it is unnecessary for a healthy person to have 2 kidneys.

Zac, I am releasing this butterfly coin to you in hopes of finding some miracle out there far and wide. Let's send this coin as far as we possibly can and see what happens! You just have to pass this coin along with a good deed and the journey keeps moving forward. With the unique code on the back, we can forever track your journey.

It is with the sincerest intention that this brings you positive vibes, faith in the human race and hope.
