I received this coin from Kathy. It was given to me for the help and friendship my husband and I gave to their family. This gift made me tear up, as Kathy is a wonderful person and friend. I am thankful every day that our paths crossed and we became friends. I am excited to carry this coin and look diligently for it's new home.

After purchasing a number of coins, I thought of who the recipients were going to be?
Another customer approached our table while we were out to eat, She gave us some coupons that took over $5 off our meal. It was a nice gesture from a stranger.

I've met Melissa and her family only once, that was in 2006, when I was on a motorcycle trip out west. I pulled into a hotel for the night in Montana. At the same time, a car from Oregon had pulled in also. I heard someone yell from the car, "Where from Minnesota?" It was Melissa's voice. I discovered she had grown up in a town I was very familiar with. More conversations followed. The next day, we went our separate ways. Years later, I discovered something she might know about and sought to contact her via online. Since then, coincidences seem to have blurred into something of an ESP. 1800 miles between us but what I know about her and her family, and from what others think of Melissa... she's the real deal when it comes to kind hearted folk.
Throughout life I have met a number of people who've left an impression on me, the paths to knowing these people have been mostly by chance. Almost, like life is planned. Melissa falls in that category.
Attached is a photo, moments before the coin was sent on its journey in Melissa's name. Godspeed.

Kathy, came to mind, for her voluntary work on an online database. She has given of her time to research the lives of people she didn't even know and document her findings. Because of her efforts, future generations will be able to locate and find information about a person and their final resting place.
We all, will pass away someday. And who we were, will fade as time passes.
