I received this coin from Betsy Conner in honor of her sister and my friend, Susan. Today would have been Susan's 60th birthday. Betsy and Susan were inseparable and Betsy cared for Susan until the very end. Today I am passing this coin on to a dear friend of mine, Denise. Her son's birthday is today and he would have been 29. Unfortunately she loss him in 2011. Today I celebrate Susan and Mark, as well as all I have loss - to All - FLY HIGH!!!
I purchased several coins to pass out to family and friends in memory of my sister, Susan. Susan passed on Oct 11, 2018 after living 5 years with brain cancer (glioblastoma multiforme). Susan was not one to give up. Whenever she was around others she was always happy and grateful for the time she had to share. I have started this coin and asked the recipient do something good for someone in memory of Susan. I see her good friend has passed it on in her memory. Do Good & Fly on!
I received this coin on my son’s 29th birthday. He died by suicide on May 18th, 2011. I cried when I received. I finally passed this coin on. I had to find the right person whom I felt could really use. I passed it on to a person I admire and proud to call a friend. Liz has endured a lot in the past few years and felt she deserved this much needed coping. When I gave it to her I found out she had lost just someone close to her by suicide. I knew I made the right decision in passing along this special coin.
