I just received this coin in the mail. The sender, whoever it might be, can not know how very kind this gesture is and how much it means to me TODAY. This afternoon I received a message that a dear and sweet friend passed away. I was having a difficult day, still am, and to be honest, this coin brought tears to my eyes...but they were thankful tears. Someone thought of ME in this very special way. Whoever you are...I can not thank you enough. I will pay it forward.
I was pleasantly surprised to receive this coin from my Aunt Sally. About her: she is someone who is nice to everyone. Some people don't think that's possible, but she is proof that there are some folks in the world who are kind and loving without expecting anything in return. My Dad passed away in November and Sally has been a consistent companion to my Mom (even before then) and helps her with things when I can't. This particular day, my kids & I were meeting my Mom, my brother, and Sally for breakfast. Sally always has some new little trinket to show us, so it didn't occur to me that this was any different. I was really touched that she passed this to me. She also treated all of us to breakfast! What a great treat! As time passes, so many things change...our big family isn't as close as it used to be...so I am truly thankful for the cherished moments to share with loved ones. Thank you, Sally, for always passing on love...not only through your gifts but just by being you.
My name is Bryant and I recieved this coin from a woman named Kim. I cannot thank her enough as well as the makers of these coins! I was just doing my job, and for someone to go out of their way to say thank you by giving me this coin felt so good. I look forward to finding someone and passing it on! No matter what I hear or see I choose to believe whole heartedly that there will always be more GOOD than there is bad.
I received this coin, along with four others, from my wife and best friend, a paradigm of thoughtfulness and generosity. She bought dozens to give out to folks and I was honored to start off with a handful. Can't wait to send this coin on its way to the next bearer and see what ground it breaks (or mends) along the road!

tmcgarcia, sorry I forgot to log in but was able to edit and add this note ---- Tonight, 01/08/2019, I passed this coin on to a very special friend. I know she will love this kind deed and will love to be involved in this coin's journey. I didn't have an act of kindness to go with the coin but I know that she knows I will do anything I can for her!
Jody has been my go-to nail lady for bullet proof gel manicures and pedicures for the past year or so. Our paths crossed through a mutual friend (thank-you Nikki:)) and we hit it off immediately! She is a beautiful, authentic, loving soul who shares her talents in the nail salon as well as through therapeutic yoga. We have spent many hours sharing our spiritual and life journeys. The conversation is non-stop while we are together and at times has been very therapeutic for me. I gifted this Ulysses Butterfly Coin along with a gift certificate for "Float Spokane" http://www.floatspokane.com/ so she can try out a float in a private self-contained pod, filled with magnesium saturated, body temperature water for an hour!! Jody, I hope you enjoy this amazing, relaxing, and meditative experience as much as I did! By the way, there is great Japanese Restaurant around the corner, that is a fantastic way to end your day!! Do Good & Fly On my friend!
This coin will go to one of three friends I'll be meeting for lunch on January 8th. I'll be interested to find out how my friends will touch other lives and where the coin will go. I should note that I totally forgot the coin on the 8th, and didn't give them to my friends until the 18th when we celebrated Vicki's birthday. I wished, after I gave them away, that I had made a spread sheet of the numbers and who got them, but now that I see how it works with the notifications, it really doesn't matter. What a wonderful, sweet encouragement this will be to your friend, P! That is you! wonderful, sweet and encouraging!
I received this coin and was caught off guard with it. I think this is really cool. I am grateful to have been chosen as a recipient of this coin. I feel that this is a great way to let people know that they are appreciated for what they do. What a great way to pass/pay it forward. I will pass the coin on to a person that goes above and beyond on a daily basis. This person is a pleasure to work with and truly cares about everyone and is someone you want in your corner. I will pass this coin on to Deann.
I chose to give my coin to the young man who was working at Taco John's on January 7th of 2019 named Bryant. It was over the lunch crowd and crazy busy inside. He never once lost his composure, was very efficient, polite and easy going. All very good qualities to have inside and outside the workforce. Taco John should feel very thankful that they have an employee that is this conscientious of his job when serving the public. Awesome job and thank you for such great service Bryant! You made a difference in how the rest of my day played out!
This coin originated from the Awesome Possum Flea Market in Hamburg, Iowa. This is part of a project of 105 coins that are taking place in the Hamburg Iowa butterfly effect of kindness project. Please make sure that if you are given one of these awesome coins for whatever reason that you continue passing it on so that we can see how far this coins journey can go. While I know it is tempting to hang on to these cool coins, the whole point to our project is to see how far and how big of a difference these could make in somebody's lives.
Hi, I had this coin passed Down by my grandma. Now itβs my turn to pass it down to someone I know. I will think hard about passing it down to the next person. So if your reading this... pass it down... and write your story about this coin. Also always have fun and be kind.ππ€π. Carter J Meyer 9 years old

I received this coin as a gift from a friend/client in Sandpoint after a visit where we shared stories of our personal/spiritual journeys and growth, and the joy we are feeling in our lives right now. Thank you, Sheila!
I released this coin to a friend who stopped to visit and deliver an unexpected Christmas gift, and to introduce me to his wonderful new girlfriend. They were on a journey from Seattle to the East Coast, and their car developed problems, and since it was New Year's Day they couldn't find a mechanic to fix it. I helped them until they were able to get repairs the next day and resume their journey. We had a wonderful visit! I wish them much love on their first big adventure together!
My name is Teresa. I currently live in Panama City Beach, Florida. I was searching for a gift for people that have everything they need or want and came across butterfly coins. I thought was a great idea and to spread kindness and watch the effect is an amazing thing these days.
I purchased 20 coins to give away. It will be interesting to see how far these butterflies travel and what kindness they might bring about.
To everyone that updates this coin, thank you for your kindness and thanks for passing it along.
Butterfly, butterfly, fly away and spread kindness along the way.
I give this to one of my ride or die people in my life. Derrick has always been a leader in everything he does.He always thinks of others first and goes above and beyond. He is there for anyone who needs to share and offers his wisdom and support for anyone who asks. This is my hand of kindness to you along with a smile. Because everyday you engage with people to make them smile. Here is to you!!
